After a two-year hiatus, the Elmwood Gala is back! A highlight of the Ottawa social season, the Elmwood Gala brings together the Elmwood community with the broader Ottawa business community, ambassadorial representatives, sponsors and friends, all in support of Elmwood School and its mission - to inspire each girl to reach her full potential.
The proceeds from the Gala will support In Our Element, the campaign for STEM at Elmwood.
Elmwood has a long legacy of excellence in science education with an increasing number of graduates pursing post-secondary studies and careers in STEM. With support from Gala patrons, the School will be able to build a best-in-class Chemistry Lab, and offer students more resources to better prepare them for future studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. More Elmwood girls will be inspired to study and work in STEM fields closing the gender gap, and the future leaders in the Sciences will be Elmwood graduates.
This year's event is taking place on Saturday, June 4th in a marquee tent on the grounds of Elmwood School, nestled in the heart of Rockcliffe Park. The park-like setting will be reflected in the event's garden theme envisioned in green and gold.
